Workflow Action Handler Menu

→ This app shows all customized actions for each transitions in workflow.

Search Options

  • Action Name : able to see all action name in the workflow, select multiply to search

  • Action Type : able to select “Condition, Validate, PostFunction”

  • Plugin : Basically providing Jira bundle plugin and other commercial plugins(ScriptRunner, JSU, JWME) added actions

  • Transition : Able to select all transitions actions are added

Action Handling

  • Action : Condition

By selecting the function, you can skip below action

User can go to below configuration directly.

By selecting this function in action value in Action as below figure,

user can go to “update and edit” mode directly.

By selecting this function, user can delete an action selected.

After that, select “publish” to confirm it

Action Search Result Table

1. Action Name

  • All action name added will be listed

    • ex, Update Issue Field, Only Assignee Condition…..

  • This name is from the name of class for this action

2. Action Type

  • PostFuntion

  • Condition

  • Validate

  • Trigger

2-1. Order

  • Order of customized action located

  • Normally, when added new action, then it locates at “order 1”. or admin can reorder to lower

3. Plugin Name

  • Jira Bundled Plugin : Basically Jira Application providing

  • Commercial Plugin: JSU Automation Suite for Jira Workflows , Script Runner, JMWE

4. Value

  • Jira Bundled Plugin : Display what value adjusted

  • Commercial plugin : just showing the description of each actions

    • The value will be shown in next release.

5. Transition for the action

  • Transition info where the customized action is triggered

  • ex, In Progress(11) - this transition means status to status number

  • When pressed “ In Progress(11)”, user can directly move to the transition
